It’s officially Valentine's season and love is in the air, but when you are filled with love, it’s Valentine’s day every day! With this wedding editorial, I wanted to bring all the vibes and vibrance of Valentine’s Day to create a romantic and glamorous, yet elegant style, where you instantly feel the love!
Love and Valentine’s are not confined to couples and romance. Loving is how you carry yourself and treat others and the world around you. The happiness and joy that love fills people with should be celebrated and shared all the time. Love is capable of transforming hearts, joining people together, and bringing light out of darkness. Imagine how beautiful the world would be if the love and joy that is exchanged during weddings and Valentine’s were shared and felt everyday.
While Valentine’s Day was my inspiration for the shoot, I wanted to bring a more modern feel and incorporate trends we are loving right now! Pearls are trending and I could not be more excited about that. Accessorizing your style or decor with pearl details can elevate your look and bring depth and texture! Pearls can add glitz and glamor, while still being understated and classy. They are an accessory that will remain timeless and beautiful. Another trend I am obsessed with is having a reception dress or multiple outfits throughout the night. It’s a fun way to showcase your personality and style, while changing with the vibe.
It wouldn’t be an editorial about love, without the help from some of the people I love most! This shoot was so special to me because I got to work with my family, who also happen to be wedding vendors. I wanted to display their work and my love and appreciation for them. With this editorial I want people to feel the love that we share and get to celebrate and the fun we all had together capturing these special moments.
As a wedding planner I get to witness true love and adoration all the time. It fills my heart with such joy to be able to celebrate love and help bring dreams to life.
